Hi, I’m Fatma

A therapist who believes that healing begins when your story is truly seen and valued. As a Black, Muslim woman, my own lived experiences have shaped the way I hold space for others.

For a long time, I looked like I had it all together, even when inside I was carrying more than I could hold. I understand what it’s like to move through life on autopilot, to give and give until you’re left asking, ‘Where do I fit in all of this?’

This space isn’t about performance or perfection. It’s a soft landing — a place where you can exhale, reflect, and come back to yourself at your own pace. You don’t need to be ‘fixed.’ You just need a space that honours your story, your identity, and your capacity to grow on your own terms.

Approaches combined: trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and strength-based

  1. I’m a first-generation Canadian, shaped by both the challenges and the resilience of immigrant life.

  2. I’m a mother of two, and my children remind me daily of the importance of patience, presence, and joy.

  3. My faith grounds me, giving me strength and perspective through every season.

  4. Community care isn’t just part of my work, it’s at the heart of my personal life too. My community pours into me as I pour into them.

  5. I love storytelling whether I’m listening, sharing, or helping others put words to their own experiences.

  6. I graduated with a degree from McMaster University with a BSW, BA.

  7. I graduated from the University of Windsor with my MSW

  8. I believe therapy should be both reflective and practical; insight paired with tools you can use.

  9. Honesty matters to me. I will always meet you exactly where you are, without judgment.

  10. I find joy in seeing clients recognize their own resilience and step into their strength.
